“Native shrubs will be planted such as sampaguita, gumamela, kamuning, tsaang gubat and other native plants. A new park and plaza that the people of Calapan City can be proud of!,” said Panaligan. Last October, the Calapan City was chosen as one of the local government units in the country that will be part of the national government’s Public and Open Space Program for Cities.
