About this Place
Target Island, known to locals as Alibatan Island in Bulalacao, Oriental Mindoro used to be a target site for bombing practices during the Second World War. The 5-hectare island surrounded by white sand beach has a lagoon in the middle which is believed to be formed because of the bombings.
