Caluangan Lake, Calapan
Caluangan Lake in Calapan City is a hidden gem among the tourists and travelers. For you to get there, you have to go to Barangay Wawa and hire a boat to bring you through the placid waters. The boat ride was a mere 30 minutes but it was quite refreshing to be in the midst of nature's bounty...mangroves, birds, fish pens, All the stress of the grind in the urban jungle will slip away as you hear the oars moving back and forth. It was a perfect moment since it was sunset and as the sun goes down in the west, bright rays of gold, yellow, red streaks through the sky.

Directions : There is no direct connection from Manila to Mindoro. However, you can take the train to Cubao LRT, take the walk to Manila Cubao Jam Liner, take the bus to Batangas Pier, take the walk to Batangas, take the car ferry to Calapan. View on Google Map
