Naujan

A town of pristine beauty and historical sites, Naujan is the largest municipality of Oriental Mindoro. It boasts the Simbahang Bato, a church made of corals bonded by lime mortar during the 16th Century of Augustinian Friars. Naujan is also the site of the Naujan Lake National Park. Lake Naujan, the fifth largest lake in the Philippines is home to a wide variety of fish and water birds. It is also declared as a wetland of national importance by the RamSAR Convention as it is a feeding area for thousands of local and migratory birds.
